Singapore, 23 May, 2023 - Shinsegae Duty Free has partnered with Singapore-based fintech company Liquid Group to accept QR payments from digital wallets connected to its cross-border payment network. Starting today, the XNAP app will be the first payment method accepted across all Shinsegae’s stores in South Korea and successively, additional digital wallets in the payment network will be introduced.
This partnership will enhance Shinsegae’s payment method offerings and provide more convenience to travellers visiting South Korea. The XNAP app users can simply purchase a wide range of Shinsegae’s duty-free products, cosmetics, perfume, liquor, and luxurious fashion items, both from international and popular Korean brands by just presenting the QR code generated within their app to the cashier.
In addition to online and offline e-payment services, NicePayments provides the largest payment integration platform service in Korea through partnerships with major payment companies, and has recently been leading the payment market. NicePayments has been partnering with Liquid Group since 2020 and is working together to provide various payment methods to domestic merchants.
Travellers from anywhere in the world can download the XNAP app from Google Play Store or Apple Store to instantly start making secure QR payments with their credit and debit cards linked to their Google Pay and Apple Pay wallets.
